When I spotted it I immediately thought of you as the print has quite a romantic feel.

I don't think the fabric is quite brocade, but it's certainly shiny and very very weighty which I reckon make it look more expensive and luxe than it actually is.

Thanks for your tips on how to style, I've done it with a loose grey crew neck t-shirt and scarf which made the colours pop but I'm kinda struggling. Most cardigans are slightly longer line! I'll pop into New Look this week and see if I can spot a cute cardi in some pastel tones.

Duly noted on the orchid and fuschia line - those colours still kind of scare me, but you're the third person to tell me that those colours would look fabulous with this skirt so I should stop being a whimp and brave the colour! I'll be sure to let you have a peek - your lace skirt three ways post gave me some inspiration so perhaps I'll try that kind of thing with this skirt, I've so many clothes it's about time I found new ways to style them.

Laura xxAnonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13209309050883625091noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1934608432598458748.post-91650681912388530032014-10-13T16:39:50.151+01:002014-10-13T16:39:50.151+01:00That skirt is gorgeous! It also has that lovely vintage wallpaper look that I'm so in love with right now. And that palette! It's definitely a fall skirt, but the punches of pink and orange keep it vibrant and feminine.

For a prim styling, I might pair it with a fitted, cropped cardigan buttoned all the way up. For shoes, I'd go with kitten heels or mary-janes. And a pearl necklace all the way!

I might also pair it with a top in radiant orchid or deep fuschia. I think both colors would look lovely on you, and both are present in the floral print. Maybe find a top with a ruffle or embellishment along the neckline? Then you could nix the necklace and do a drop earring.

Such a lovely skirt! Loving this spike in outfit posts from you!

<3 Liz
www.withwonderandwhimsy.comwithwonderandwhimsyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10010044830575897799noreply@blogger.com
